Technical Details for the RM006 Series
The RM006 compact piston air motor stands out in every aspect! Throughout its development, Globe dedicated time to achieving both an extended service life and higher efficiency. The innovative design of the RM006 includes a nickel-plated housing and metal wheels in the pistons, enhancing reliability. The result is a motor that operates with remarkable smoothness, exhibiting minimal resistance as if the pistons' wheels run on rails. This not only increases the motor's strength but also extends its service life by minimising wear, consequently reducing the need for maintenance. Extensive testing and comparison with similar air motors on the market reveal that Globe's RM006 is at least 50% more efficient.
The motors offer several advantages, including simple and inexpensive variable speed and torque control, indefinite stalling under load, and instant reversibility with a control valve. Additionally, they are resistant to harsh conditions, cool-running due to expanding air, compact and lightweight compared to electric motors, and operate without shock start-up.
Applications for Globe's compact piston air motors include mixing equipment, winding equipment, conveyor belts, hose reels, turntables, packing machines, and cap screwing machines. The oil-free and silicone-free motors are suitable for mixing applications, and special versions are available for the food and chemical industry.
