Pneumatic Self-Relieving Valves
These Ross Relief Valves are available in two series: the Miniature Series and the High-Flow Series. The Miniature Series, with port sizes of 1/8" and 1/4", supports flows up to 40 scfm (18.8 l/s) and offers a compact inline relief valve solution featuring diaphragm construction and self-relieving capabilities for precise pressure control. The High-Flow Series, with a 1" port size, handles flows up to 450 scfm (212 l/s) and provides a high-capacity inline relief valve solution, also featuring diaphragm construction and self-relieving capabilities for efficient and reliable pressure relief in high-flow applications. Both series are designed for easy installation. If the system pressure exceeds the pilot regulator setting (set-point), the High-Flow Relief Valve will begin to exhaust air after an approximate 2 psig (0.1 bar) rise above the set-point. Should the system pressure drop below the set-point, the fill valve will open to supply air downstream and maintain the system at the set-point.

A History in Pneumatics
MacScott Bond has been supplying air motors in the UK since the early days of our company in the 1970s. Through our experience with air motors, we have seen that the best way of improving your pneumatic components’ life and reducing maintenance costs overall is to prepare the air flowing through them. MacScott Bond holds a stock of Ross Controls’ Filter, Regulator, Lubricators, which have been sized to match requirements for the Globe air motors in our range. If you have an air motor application, remember to ask MacScott Bond about the rest of the pneumatic circuit and we will be able to supply an appropriate FRL assembly.
