Technical Details for the VS-BA1


The VS-BA1 viscoelastic shock absorbers from ACE Controls offer energy capacities from 1,000 Nm to 14,000 Nm per cycle and strokes from 12 mm to 80 mm. Utilising hydrostatic compression principles, they combine the functions of shock absorbers and a spring for high damping efficiency, minimal sensitivity to temperature changes, and enhanced safety through integrated static preload. Ideal for heavy industry, they are widely used in material handling, rolling mills, defence, waterways, and paper production

Note: The shock absorber can be pushed through its stroke. In creep speed conditions the shock absorber provides minimal resistance and there is no braking effect.
