Sidewall Isolation for Foundations
Fabsorb® is a foundation isolation material designed to effectively absorbs machine-induced energy, limiting the transmission of higher frequency disturbances, and providing isolation from ambient and induced shock and vibration, ensuring the accuracy of installed machines. Unlike other materials that stiffen over time and lose their isolation characteristics due to water absorption and wicking, Fabsorb® is made from a medium-density, closed-cell foam material that remains durable and reliable. It is specifically engineered for vibration isolation in support foundations for machine tools, shock testing equipment, grinders, and similar equipment. Fabsorb® is commonly used in combination with Fabreeka's FAB-EPM or FAB-EFP foundation isolation materials, providing comprehensive isolation for both the base and sidewalls of foundations or inertia masses.
